Moby for ChatGPT
ChatGPT can trade Solana tokens through Moby when your workspace allows a custom MCP server.
ChatGPT can trade Solana tokens through Moby when your workspace is Business, Enterprise or Edu and allows custom MCP servers (web). You paste your personal Moby connector URL from the app; the agent trades from a USDC-funded agent wallet inside the limits you set.
Your AI agent trades Solana tokens, including memes, majors and tokenized stocks (xStocks on Solana, like TSLAx), with your USDC, inside the limits you set.
AI Trading on Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain is coming soon.
This page is the setup. For background, read how to use ChatGPT for trading and what MCP in ChatGPT is. Other hosts: Codex, Claude Code (CLI), Grok CLI, and Gemini CLI (with a paid Gemini API key or enterprise access).
Add the Moby connector in ChatGPT
-
Create a key and copy your connector URL
In the Moby app, open the Agent tab, tap Connect, and create a key for ChatGPT. Copy your personal Moby connector URL from the app. The key starts with moby_agent_. It is an agent API key, not a wallet private key. Do not paste the key into the chat. You can revoke it in the app.
-
Paste the URL into a custom MCP connector
In ChatGPT workspace settings, add a custom MCP connector and paste that URL. In ChatGPT, paste your personal Moby connector URL from the app. ChatGPT: works on Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces that allow custom MCP servers (web). Any MCP client that can send an Authorization header can connect using the generic setup.
Your first trade
Check my Moby agent wallet balance and limits, then buy $10 of NVDAx and set a take-profit at +15% and a stop-loss at -10%.A 0.75% swap fee (minimum $0.90 per swap), plus onchain fees.
Agent buys have no automatic exits unless you ask for them, like this prompt does.
The connector URL is personal to your agent. If you revoke the key in the Moby app, that URL stops working. Any MCP client that can send an Authorization header can connect using the generic setup. That header is Authorization: Bearer moby_agent_... with the key from the app, not a wallet private key.
Link your account and set limits
You set your agent's limits on max per trade, daily buy limit and market-cap range from the Moby app, and Moby checks them server-side on every buy. The agent trades Solana only, funded with USDC. There are no withdrawals through MCP.
Each user gets one agent, with its own self-custody Solana wallet, separate from your main in-app wallet. Fund that wallet in USDC. Ask before every trade stays on until you turn it off. A profile saved in ChatGPT cannot raise the app limits. Revoke the key in the app: Agent tab, Connect.
What it can do
ChatGPT trading here means research plus orders you approve. The agent can look up what is trending on Solana, check a token, read your limits, and prepare a buy of Solana tokens with USDC. A buy spends real funds only after you say yes when approval is on.
