About
Helius is a major Solana RPC and data provider, and helius-mcp is its official MCP server. It gives an agent raw Solana access: any wallet's balances and history, parsed transactions, token metadata, token holders and chain state. The free Helius plan covers light use.
What it adds to Moby. Ground truth. Moby tells you a tracked whale bought a token; Helius shows that wallet's raw history, so you see what happened, when, and through which program. It also covers wallets Moby does not track.
How to pair it. Start from Moby (get_whalewatch_feed, get_token_key_holders), then check a wallet or transaction in Helius before you follow it.
What it does not do. Installed read-only, it cannot move funds or trade. The full server also has transfers, staking, webhook changes and a signup that can create a local keypair and pay from it. Start it with --read-only (or HELIUS_MCP_READ_ONLY=1), which removes all of them, and set your key with HELIUS_API_KEY. Trades stay with Moby.

Third-party code: Moby does not audit or control it. Read the source before you run it.
