Best AI Trading Apps in 2026 (Compared)
We built one of these apps (Moby). Every feature listed for other apps was checked against that app's own site or help center on November 2, 2026.
An AI trading app uses an AI model to research markets and prepare or place trades within limits you set. In 2026 the main types are broker apps with built-in agents, crypto automation platforms and onchain apps like Moby, where an AI agent with its own wallet trades Solana tokens, including tokenized stocks.
Quick picks
Nine apps, grouped by where the AI trades from. Moby is first because we built it. The others are listed by type. Public's row uses the March 30, 2026 preview scope. Later change-log additions are in the Public entry.

How we checked these AI trading apps
This is an AI trading apps review of documentation. We read each app's own site or help center on November 2, 2026 and linked it under the entry. Where a homepage did not load and another page on that company's site did, the entry says so.
Same checks for every app: what the AI can actually do (research only, or place trades), where it trades from, who approves trades, which AI models or hosts it works with, the controls and limits, and what it can trade. We did not test returns and we make no performance claims. Fee schedules move, so this page does not rank apps by price. A shortlist of top AI trading apps is a set of products to compare, and each one can lose money.
Moby: our pick for an AI agent beside your main broker
Keep your main broker for your main portfolio. Moby is the side wallet for your AI agent. You keep the brokerage account you already use. Beside it, one Moby Agent has its own wallet and one theme. Moby does not take the broker's place.
What it does
Set up a Moby Agent with its own wallet and your spending guardrails, then connect it to the AI you use. Connect your Moby Agent to Codex, Claude Code or Grok. You can connect it to Codex, Claude Code or Grok through the Moby MCP. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open-source standard for connecting AI applications to external systems. Host setup for those three lives on the agents pages. To set up a Moby Agent, start in the Moby app, then follow the guide for the AI you use.
What your agent can trade
Your agent can trade Solana tokens, paid in USDC, including tokenized stocks like TSLAx, NVDAx and SPYx, and tokenized gold. Agent trading on Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain is coming soon.
A theme strategy in a few clicks
One agent, one themed basket. An example only, not a recommendation: a tech basket of AAPLx, MSFTx, NVDAx, AVGOx and TSMx. Energy, in one line: XOMx. Copy a card from the Moby starter strategies, or follow the majors-only guardrails listing if you want a market-cap floor.
Controls
You set your agent's limits on max per trade, daily buy volume and market-cap range from the Moby app, and Moby checks them server-side on every buy your agent makes. The Moby agents page also describes an optional "Ask before every trade" switch on starter strategies, a stop-loss and a take-profit on positions, and base rate limits of up to 6 trades a minute and 200 a day. That page says the agent cannot withdraw, transfer or send your funds, because there is no tool for it. You choose whether the agent asks before every trade.
Fees and cashback
A 0.75% swap fee (minimum $0.90 per swap), plus onchain fees, which aren't included in the 0.75%. 10% of the Moby fee back in $MOBY on every swap, 20% after your first swap, up to 30% as you climb tiers.
Good to know
Your Moby Agent trades Solana tokens. Moby is not a brokerage account and does not replace one. The Moby app supports Solana, Robinhood Chain, BNB Chain, and Base. Tokenized stocks give price exposure, not shareholder rights. See the best Solana trading apps and the best Solana mobile trading apps.

Broker apps with built-in AI agents
2026 is the year brokers added agents. Each one separates what the agent can touch. Facts below are from each company's own pages on November 2, 2026.
Robinhood Agents
Best for: an agent inside a broker app. Robinhood's help center says you create an AI agent in the app, powered by large language models from third-party providers, to research, analyze your portfolio and place trades. It trades in a dedicated Agentic account you fund. It can view other Robinhood accounts and only trades in that Agentic account. Trade approvals are on by default: the agent proposes, and you place the order. Supported asset classes are equities, options and crypto. External agents can connect via MCP. "Agent Loops" are marked coming soon, and Robinhood says Agents is still rolling out.

Public Agents
Best for: prompt-built agent workflows. You describe a task in a prompt. Public's AI proposes an Agent workflow you can edit. Every Agent requires your explicit sign-off before running, and you can pause, edit or shut it down. It runs in your Public account. After you sign off, Public says the Agent executes that workflow. Public describes itself as "the world's first Agentic Brokerage." The March 30, 2026 preview says agents execute trades across equities, crypto and single-leg options, including limit orders (the quick picks row). The same change log later adds multi-leg options (April 3, 2026), event contracts (October 4, 2026) and rolling 15-minute markets (October 30, 2026). On June 25, 2026, Research (formerly Alpha) moved under Agents.

Webull Agentic Trading
Best for: connecting your own AI to a broker. Webull says you can connect ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP-compatible agent to a Webull account. You preview every order before anything goes live. Optional read-only mode, a cap on order size and value, or a symbol list, and you can disconnect anytime. Webull says the connection uses OAuth. It trades from your Webull account. Asset classes on the page: equities, options, futures, event contracts and crypto.

Interactive Brokers AI Integration
Best for: global market access through MCP. IBKR says you can connect MCP platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Perplexity, to an IBKR account. Standard integration is research and trade preparation: you review and submit each order. IBKR Autonomous Trading lets supported AI place trades in a separate, funded AI Partition without approving each order. Eligibility on that page: individual, non-margin accounts, after at least 10 trades of $100 or more over two weeks in review-and-approve mode. What it can trade: IBKR markets (see IBKR). Autonomous trading on the same page lists eligible stocks and equity options.

Automation platforms for stocks and crypto
These products run a strategy you pick or build. The bot places orders under those settings. A best automated AI trading app here means rules that send orders. A separate guide will cover how the automation works. This section stays with what each company publishes.
StockHero
Best for: no-code preset strategies.
StockHero's site says you can deploy preset strategies from a Marketplace without code, paper trade on a virtual exchange, run backtests, and set risk controls such as stop-loss and take-profit. It connects to brokerages. The bot trades per the strategy settings on the brokerage you connect. What it can trade depends on that brokerage.

Crypto automation apps
An AI crypto trading app in this list is an exchange, or a layer on exchanges, where a bot trades crypto. Pionex, Cryptohopper and 3Commas are the three checked here. Copy-style products are a different job. For those, see crypto copy trading platforms.
Pionex
Best for: built-in crypto automation.
Pionex describes itself as an exchange with built-in crypto trading bots. The bot trades on the Pionex exchange. The homepage at pionex.com did not return article text on November 2, 2026 (a browser check stood in the way). Pionex's own blog, on the same site, says native bots place orders inside the Pionex account and do not need a separate third-party exchange connection. What it can trade: crypto. Who places trades: the bot.

Cryptohopper
Best for: customizable crypto automation.
Cryptohopper is a crypto trading bot platform that connects to exchanges. On November 2, 2026 its homepage lists AI trading, paper trading, backtesting, a strategy designer, a copy bot and a Cryptohopper MCP. The bot trades on the exchanges you connect. What it can trade: crypto. Funds stay at the exchange. Cryptohopper is the control panel.

3Commas
Best for: cross-exchange crypto automation.
3Commas says you link exchange accounts, then build and backtest bots, including backtests on 1-minute candles, with risk management, and run cross-exchange automation from one dashboard. The bot places the trades. What it can trade: crypto. The same page says 3Commas does not have access to your exchange account and cannot withdraw your funds.

Can an AI trading app trade for you?
Search phrases such as "AI trading app that trades for you," "fully automated AI trading app" and "best AI trading app that trades for you" describe a spectrum, not one product.
Some apps only research. They answer questions and wait for you to trade. Some prepare an order and stop. Webull shows a preview before anything goes live. Robinhood leaves trade approvals on by default, so the agent proposes and you place the trade. Public requires your sign-off before an Agent runs. Some can place orders on their own inside a limit you set. IBKR's AI Partition does that for eligible accounts. A Moby Agent does that from its own wallet, inside guardrails you set.
In Moby, you choose whether your agent asks before every trade. Leave the ask-first switch on and you confirm each buy. Turn it off and the agent can send the order inside the limits you already set. Either choice can lose money. Who sends the order, and how large it may be, is the control. It is not a forecast of the next price. Set up your Moby Agent for that side wallet, and keep the broker you already use for the rest of the portfolio.
Best AI trading apps by use case
Which AI is best for trading depends on the account you want the AI to touch, and on how often you want to approve an order. No single name below is a universal pick.
Best AI trading app for beginners
Look for approvals that start on, limits that are easy to set, and fees you can read before you trade. In Moby, you set max per trade and daily buy volume before your agent trades. You set your agent's limits on max per trade, daily buy volume and market-cap range from the Moby app, and Moby checks them server-side on every buy your agent makes.
Best AI trading app beside your main broker
Moby. Keep the broker. Add one agent with its own wallet for Solana tokens, including tokenized stocks.
Best AI stock trading app inside a brokerage
A neutral list, alphabetical: Interactive Brokers AI Integration, Public Agents, Robinhood Agents and Webull Agentic Trading. Each one adds an AI to a brokerage account. Read the entry for who places the trade.
Best AI trading app for tokenized stocks
Moby. The agent trades tokenized stocks on Solana, paid in USDC. Tokenized stocks track a price and do not carry shareholder rights.
Best automated crypto trading apps
Pionex, Cryptohopper and 3Commas. The bot trades crypto on an exchange account you connect, or, at Pionex, on the exchange itself.
Best no-code stock automation
StockHero. Preset strategies, paper trading, and a connection to a brokerage, without writing code.
Best AI trading apps for tokenized stocks and stock exposure
An AI stock trading app, and the best AI stock trading apps 2026, usually means listed securities in a brokerage account. Alphabetical: Interactive Brokers, Public, Robinhood and Webull.
Tokenized stocks are the other path. They are Solana tokens whose price tracks an underlying asset. A Moby Agent can trade them, paid in USDC, including TSLAx, NVDAx and SPYx. That is price exposure beside your broker, and it does not carry shareholder rights. An AI investing app that only scores or chats about companies is a research tool, and this page is about apps that can prepare or place trades.
AI trading apps vs AI trading platforms vs AI trading assistants
The labels overlap in search. Pick a best AI trading platform by what it can send, and by who approves that send.
An AI trading app is the phone-first product you trade in. Robinhood, Public, Webull and Moby are apps in that sense: you open them and see the account the AI may use.
An AI trading platform is the web or exchange-connected layer where automation runs. StockHero on a brokerage, and Pionex, Cryptohopper and 3Commas on crypto, are platforms. You set a strategy. The bot can send orders while the page is closed.
An AI trading assistant researches and chats. It explains a chart or drafts a plan. It sends an order only if you have given it a separate permission. Read what agentic trading means for the longer definition.
What to look for in an AI trading app
Use this list before you connect an account or fund a wallet.
- Where the AI trades from. A separate account or its own wallet, so you can see the money it may use.
- Who approves trades. Approvals on, a preview, a sign-off, or autonomous inside a limit you set.
- Hard limits. A cap per trade and a cap per day.
- What it can trade. Equities, options, crypto, or tokenized stocks.
- Which AI it works with. The vendor's list of models or hosts.
- Fees, including network fees. Read the fee on that company's own page the day you trade. A headline percentage can leave out the chain or the broker.
- How you stop it. A pause, a revoke, or a disconnect.
- Data sources. Account data, market data, and what the model sends to a host.
For an AI day trading app, speed and rate limits matter, and so do the risks. A fast order can lose money. Caps on size and on how many orders can fire still belong in the setup.
Does AI trading really work? Risks and red flags
Is there a real AI trading app? Yes. The nine products above publish their own pages, and the broker agents and the bot platforms are real software. Does AI trading really work, and can you make money on AI trading? AI can speed up research and follow a rule the same way every time. No AI can predict markets. Results vary, and you can lose money. An agent can misread a prompt, act on stale data, or send an order you did not intend.
The CFTC's customer advisory says AI technology can't predict the future or sudden market changes, and it warns against trading schemes that promise unreasonably high or guaranteed returns. FINRA's investor insight, issued with the SEC and NASAA, says to be wary of claims that an AI system can't lose or can pick guaranteed winners. Those warnings are about promises.
Red flags, whatever the brand: guaranteed returns, a win-rate headline treated as a forecast, and an app that asks for withdrawal permissions on an account it only needs for trading. Start small. Set a per-trade cap and a daily cap. Read what the agent did. Turn it off if you do not understand the last order. Nothing in a backtest is a promise about the next week.
Frequently asked questions
What is an AI trading app?
An AI trading app uses an AI model to research markets and prepare or place trades within limits you set. Some only answer questions, some prepare orders for you to confirm, and some let an AI agent trade on its own from a separate account or wallet.
What is the best AI trading app?
It depends on what you want the AI to trade and how much control you want. If you want an AI agent with its own wallet beside your main broker, trading Solana tokens including tokenized stocks, Moby is built for that. Robinhood, Public, Webull and Interactive Brokers add AI agents to brokerage accounts, and Pionex, Cryptohopper and 3Commas automate crypto strategies.
Is there an AI trading app that trades for you?
Yes. Several apps let an AI agent place trades within limits you set, while others require you to approve each order. In Moby, you set up a Moby Agent with its own wallet and your spending guardrails, then connect it to the AI you use, and you can choose whether it asks before every trade.
Is there a free AI trading app?
Many AI trading apps are free to download, but trading usually costs something. Moby charges a 0.75% swap fee (minimum $0.90 per swap), plus onchain fees, which aren't included in the 0.75%. You also get 10% of the Moby fee back in $MOBY on every swap, 20% after your first swap, up to 30% as you climb tiers.
What is the best AI trading app for beginners?
Look for an app where trade approvals are easy to turn on, limits are simple to set and fees are clear. In Moby, you set your agent's limits on max per trade, daily buy volume and market-cap range from the Moby app, and Moby checks them server-side on every buy your agent makes.
Can an AI trading app trade stocks?
Broker apps with AI agents trade listed securities inside a brokerage account. Moby works differently: your Moby Agent trades Solana tokens, paid in USDC, including tokenized stocks like TSLAx, NVDAx and SPYx. Tokenized stocks track the price of the underlying asset but do not carry shareholder rights.
Does AI trading really work?
AI can speed up research and follow rules consistently, but no AI can predict markets, and AI agents can make mistakes. Results vary and you can lose money. Be wary of any app that promises returns or advertises win rates. Start small, set limits and review what your agent does.
Which AI can I connect to Moby?
You can connect your Moby Agent to Codex, Claude Code or Grok through the Moby MCP. Set up the agent in the Moby app first, then follow the setup guide for your AI on the Moby agents page.
